Minimum wage increase for Saudis in The Kingdom. Al-Rajhi issues a ministerial decision to raise the minimum wage calculation for Saudis in (Nitaqat). The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi issued a ministerial decision to raise the minimum wage calculation for Saudis in (Nitaqat) from 3,000 to 4,000 riyals.
Minimum wage increase for Saudis in The Kingdom
According to what was stated in the decision, “for the calculation of the Saudi worker in the Emiratisation percentage calculated in the” Nitaqat “program by one worker, his monthly wage should not be less than (4,000 riyals).
The Saudi worker whose monthly wage is equal to (3,000 riyals) is also calculated by only half of the percentage of locals calculated in the “Nitaqat” program. A Saudi worker whose monthly wage is less than (3,000 riyals) is not counted in the nationalization percentage calculated in the “Nitaqat” program. A Saudi worker whose monthly wage is more than (3,000 riyals) and less than (4,000 riyals) is calculated. Only half of the nationalization percentage calculated in the “Nitaqat” program. Part-time workers are also calculated in the percentage of Saudization calculated in the “Nitaqat” program with half a Saudi worker for the benefit of the entity that works for his parents, provided that social insurance contributions are paid with a minimum monthly wage of (3,000 riyals).
The employees of the flexible work system are calculated in the percentage of Emiratisation calculated in the “Nitaqat” program by one-third of a Saudi worker for the benefit of the entity he works for, provided that a total of (168) work hours are completed and subscriptions are paid. Taking into account the ministerial decisions on flexible work. The decision includes Saudi students residing in the Kingdom who regularly work part-time, permanent part-time, and flexible work system.
