In this context, the council valued the promising visions of his highness that His Highness included in the Kingdom’s future, in which the Public Investment Fund would contribute to supporting the development process, and continuing to stimulate the growth and diversification of the economy through a number of goals, the most important of which is pumping (150 billion) riyals annually on Increasingly in the local economy until 2025, and the contribution through its subsidiaries to the non-oil GDP amounting to (1.2 trillion) riyals cumulatively, and the size of assets exceeding (4 trillion) riyals by the end of 2025, and the creation of (1.8 million) jobs Directly and indirectly.

In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Minister of Information, stated that the Council of Ministers was informed of the developments of the Coronavirus pandemic locally and internationally. The Council of Ministers reviewed the topics on its agenda. Including topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, as well as the findings of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council of Political and Security Affairs, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the Council of Experts in the Council of Ministers in this regard.

The council concluded the following:

First

To authorize the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Communications and Information Technology Commission – or his representative – to discuss with the Sudanese side a draft memorandum of understanding between the Communications and Information Technology Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Communications and Post Regulatory Agency in the Republic of Sudan in the field of communications, information technology and post , And sign it, and then upload the final signed copy, to complete the legal procedures.

Second

Abolishing the Diplomatic Quarter Authority and its organizational arrangements, and transferring all its missions, projects, rights, obligations and workers to the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh.

Third

Allowing the issuance of residency permits related to work permits and their renewal quarterly – every (three) month – as a minimum, with the exception of domestic workers and the like, and the division of obtaining the value of the work permit and residence permit and the financial compensation and fees required to extract the above-mentioned residencies according to the period of stay.

Fourth:

1 – Amending the name of the program (a Saudi physician in training) to the (health practitioners training program), and adding the category of non-physician specialists accepted in the training programs implemented at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to the program.

2 – Applying the wage scale for health practitioners working within the employment programs in general, specialized and reference government hospitals, approved by Royal Decree No. (4097 / MB) dated 06/25/1432 AH, to the trainees enrolled in the program.Fifth: Renewing the membership of Dr. Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Amoud, and appointing Dr. Jalal bin Muhammad Al-Badri Basahi, a specialist on the Board of Directors of the General Organization for Irrigation.

Sixth

Approving the national policy for occupational safety and health.

Seventh

Approving the final account of the General Authority for Military Industries for the fiscal year (1440/1441 AH).

Eighth

Approval of two promotions to the (fourteenth) rank, as follows:

Zafer bin Muhammad bin Mansour Al-Shalawi is promoted to a position (chief notary) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Justice.

Promotion of Nasser bin Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Musaed to the position of Director General of the Minister of State’s Office (14th rank) at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers

The Council of Ministers also reviewed a number of general topics on its agenda, including annual reports of the Ministry of Education, the Institute of Public Administration, the Supreme Judicial Council related to administrative and financial aspects, the General Authority for Entertainment, the Center for Decision-Making Support, and the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.

The council has taken the necessary measures regarding these issues.
