Slack

A competitor of Teams and a well-renowned app for teams is called slack. The free version of slack is getting a lot of attention from users. However, the video call in the free version is limited to an individual (one to one). It is not recommended to buy the paid version if you are only looking for group calls for personal or limited use.

Zoom

Zoom, a recent but market leader has really up their game in the group video calls. Zoom has a free basic version that allows people to make calls. Skype needs no introduction as it is one of the most famous platforms available since 2003. Meet now by Skype allow 50 people with no limitation on number of meeting of timings. You can record the call and retreive for 30 days, blur the background and share your screen.

Google Duo

Google Duo is another tool that helps people to do video calls with up to 12 people. Hangout is another alternative by google similar to Duo. But it is only available in the mobile version.
