Jawazat update on the renewal of expatriates visa outside the Kingdom. The Directorate General of Passports said that the extension of the residency will be automatic for all expatriates covered by the last royal order.

This came on the official passports account via “Twitter” in response to one of the questions. The question asked regarding the residents who are currently outside the Kingdom, their residency expired and the exit and return visa ended. Is the residency renewal automatic or by submitting an application?

Jawazat explained that “the extension will be done automatically, in coordination with the National Information Center, for all expatriates covered by the royal order and what was received from the Ministry of Human Resources, and for whom the work permit has been extended.”

Passports announce the automatic completion of the extension of the period of “visiting visas” for expatriates in the Kingdom that expire during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom, in coordination with the National Information Center, and for a period of (3) months without charge.

King “Salman” had agreed to extend a number of initiatives related to visas and residencies for expatriates, as well as to extend the validity of the final exit visa for expatriates without charge, and to extend the validity of the expired residency permit for expatriates who are outside the Kingdom on the exit and return visa, which expires during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom for a period of three Months for free.
