Saudi Arabia ranked third in the Global Happiness survey, the survey was conducted between 27 countries. The Kingdom is ranked third after China being on first and the Netherlands on Second. More details below.

Saudi Arabia ranked third in the Global Happiness survey

As per the survey, 9 in 10 people in China and the Netherlands said they are very or rather happy. In Saudi Arabia, 8 in 10 people described a similar situation. The Kingdom beats France, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Sweden and many more countries in the Global Happiness Survey. The United States of America didn’t make the top 10 list.

The survey was conducted from July 24th to August 7th and 1,000 adults took part in each country via an online survey platform.

The greatest declines in happiness were recorded in the South American countries of Peru, which decreased by 26 per cent since 2019, and Chile, which dropped 15 per cent.

Those polled in Saudi Arabia ranked religion as their greatest source of happiness, followed by health and physical well-being, personal safety and security, and their relationship with their children.
