The National Center of Meteorology issued alerts with active winds and raised dust, with activity in surface winds and low visibility, in a number of areas, and rainy thunder clouds and wave heights in others.
The center stated that parts of the northern border regions, Riyadh, Qassim, and the eastern region will witness active winds and raised dust, with activity in surface winds leading to a decrease in the range of visibility, indicating that the situation will continue until 7 pm.
The parts of Al-Qassim and Riyadh regions will witness active winds and thunderstorms accompanied by activity in surface winds with a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility, indicating that the situation will continue until 8 pm.
The following regions will witness an increase in waves accompanied by activity in surface winds with a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility, Indicating that the situation continues until 7 pm.
- Eastern Region: The governorates of (Jubail, Khobar, Khafji, Dammam, and Ras Tanura)
- Makkah Region: The governorates of (Al-Leith, Jeddah, and Rabigh).
- Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region: Yanbu.
An indication that parts of the Asir region will witness rainy thunderstorms with activity in the surface winds leading to a decrease in the range of vision and the case includes Abha, Khamis Mushayt, Sarat Abidah, and Mahayil, and will continue until 8 pm.
