2700 illegal street vendors arrested in Riyadh: On Wednesday 12th August 2020, the Riyadh Municipality revealed that they were able to monitor and control a large number of street vendors in the capital during the month of July.

2700 illegal street vendors arrested in Riyadh

The Municipality, in cooperation with the security authorities, has seized more than 2,700 street vendors, as part of its campaign to control over-the-counter sales, in order to improve the urban scene in Riyadh.
