Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Health, Abdullah Al-Asiri, responded to a question about the effectiveness of the doses of the emerging anti-corona virus vaccine if it is not possible to obtain the second dose before 6 weeks of the first.

He pointed out during the press conference on Coronavirus developments, that the inability to take the second dose of the vaccine in a period of 3 to 6 weeks does not mean that the vaccine is ineffective, nor does it require the return of the first dose.
And he stressed the importance of getting the second dose at the times recommended by clinical studies of the coronavirus vaccine.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, had revealed that more than 440,000 people had received the new Corona virus vaccine since the vaccination campaign began in mid-December.
