Report by Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI Riyadh Region celebrated the Quaid’s Day in a mega program held at a local banquet hall in Riyadh. A large number of former Riyadh Region’s PTI officials and workers attended the program. They paid rich tribute to the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Speeches and Speakers
In their speeches, the speakers said that a person like Quaid-e-Azam born over the centuries. He guided the nations through faith and visionary thinkings. Quaid-e-Azam unites the muslims of the subcontinent on a platform and made a remarkable struggle through the freedom movement. The movement that becomes succesfull and Pakistan came into being. This is the reason why today we are living a dignified life in the atmosphere of a free country.
Abdul Qayuum Khan
Speaking on the occasion, The former president and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Abdul Qayyum Khan has said. “Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah raised awareness among Muslims because of the two-nation theory. The Theory which led Muslims to fight for their independence from both Hindus and the Britishers and Pakistan emerged on the map of the world”, he said.
Khan praised the visionary leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam, “Currently what is happening to Muslims in India proves the two nations theory, the Quaid-e-Azam’s vision and thinking right. We are grateful to Quaid-e-Azam who awakened the Muslims of the subcontinent and gave them a unique identity”, he mentioned.
Khan motivated his audience about the challenges. “Pakistan is facing many challenges today. But we can find the absolute solutions to our problems by thinking as a nation. Challenges are coming in the lives of the nations, but the nations also try to overcome them. Today we have to adhere to the teachings of the Quaid to overcome our challenges”, he continued.
Abdul Qayyum Khan while talking on party affairs has said that “PTI is having a huge following and it is the biggest party of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia. Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are now well aware of the PTI’s manifesto and PM Imran Khan’s vision by the efforts and struggle of our workers. But today, the way the party is divided into two parts in Saudi Arabia. This has shocked them and the feelings of a large number of workers have been discouraged.
Today’s Leadership and PTI Riyadh
Today, the leadership of Saudi Arabia has been given to those who never served even never worked for the party. We do not believe in all these para-shooters who have come forward to exploit the old and ideological workers. We demand the central leadership to listen to the voice of the workers in Saudi Arabia and not to damage the party. The Team stands with Prime Minister Imran Khan. We are proud that we are part of PTI and to make Pakistan a better country. We will support Prime Minister Imran Khan till the very end and Continue to work for the vision of the party manifesto and Imran Khan”, he concluded.
The other speakers of the Quaid’s Day program include Shafi Khan, Dr. Salman Shahid, Kamran Malik, Gulzaib Kayani, and others.
