The New Year Eve Celebration and Fireworks cancelled in Riyadh. This event organised by a tourism company Shamal in Malham Location. The data of this event was 31st December 2019.

The event advertised to have fireworks display and many other performances. The Ticket for the event quickly sold out and people started asking questions. The Tickets sold at SAR 460 on Platinum Events website. The event organised by Shamal also advertised on their Instagram page.

The General Entertainment Authority published a statement on December 27. The Statement clearly mentions that the event is not going to take place because of licencing issues. The Organizers will also face regulatory actions because of promoting the unlicensed event.

“The General Authority for Entertainment would like to point out that it did not license the celebration of New Year’s Eve in Malham Centre in the province of Houraymalaa in Riyadh as was circulated recently on social media platforms,” said the statement.

The Only registered event taking place in Riyadh Officially is a music concert. The Music Star Mohammed Abdou is performing live on New Year’s Eve. The General Festivities are open as usual to enjoy and hangout at Riyadh Boulevard and Winter Wonderland.
