A number of amendments stipulated the necessity of electronically documenting contracts between the worker and the employer, and the possibility of extending the trial period to 180 days, and the beginning of the non-Saudi worker’s contract is from the date of commencement, if it was not specified.
It also included that the employer did not bear the exit and return fees, and stipulated that he bear any fees for renewing the work permit, as well as the automatic termination of the worker’s contract with the company’s final declaration of bankruptcy.
