Half Million Saudi Riyals to the families of health practitioners

On Tuesday (27/10/2020), the Saudi Council of Ministers approved the disbursement of half a million riyals to the families of all the deceased in Corona working in the health sector (government and private) in Saudi Arabia, both Saudis and residents.

The session was held via video channels, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The session also included several important discussions. This includes Kingdom’s rejection of any attempt to link Islam and terrorism. Also denouncing the offensive cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad or any of the messengers.

Further, the Council also strongly condemned the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia continuing to launch (booby-trapped) drones to target civilian objects and civilians in the Kingdom in a systematic and deliberate manner, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

Council reviewed the developments of events and their developments on the Arab, regional and international arenas. The Council of Ministers expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration that the signing of the joint Libyan military committees of a permanent ceasefire agreement in Libya, under the auspices of the United Nations, will pave the way for the success of the understandings on the political and economic tracks, to contribute to the inauguration of a new era that achieves security, peace and stability for Libya and its people.
