6-month expatriate fees exemption announced for people working in Hajj and Umrah Ministry, as per the latest update after the approval by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. More details below.

6-month expatriate fees exemption for people working in Hajj and Umrah Ministry

The below initiatives were mentioned along side exemptions for Expats.

  • Expats working in the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah sector will be given six months exemption for a fee.
  • Istimara validity extended for buses operating and transporting Pilgrim for free and period of one year.
  • Renewal of Iqama for six months in Hajj and Umrah Sector expats, postponement of fee collection but also a condition that the amount will be paid within a year and in installments.
  • Renewal of Tourism Ministry licenses for one year without any charge, this will help in accommodation facilities in Makkah and Madinah. (Source; Saudi Gazette)
