6-month expatriate fees exemption for people working in Hajj and Umrah Ministry
The below initiatives were mentioned along side exemptions for Expats.
- Expats working in the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah sector will be given six months exemption for a fee.
- Istimara validity extended for buses operating and transporting Pilgrim for free and period of one year.
- Renewal of Iqama for six months in Hajj and Umrah Sector expats, postponement of fee collection but also a condition that the amount will be paid within a year and in installments.
- Renewal of Tourism Ministry licenses for one year without any charge, this will help in accommodation facilities in Makkah and Madinah. (Source; Saudi Gazette)
