UAE announces 10-year golden residency for these skills. The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, announced on Sunday (15th November 2020) the granting of golden residency for a period of 10 years to categories of residents.

Bin Rashid said that the UAE approved the granting of golden residency for 10 years to residents holding doctoral degrees, all doctors and engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology, and outperforms accredited universities in the country at a rate of 3.8 and more.
He added that the golden residency will also be granted to holders of specialized degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and viruses, in addition to the first high school diplomas in the country with their families, and the minds and talents that the UAE would like to stay and continue within the march of development and achievements, pointing out that this is a down payment and other payments will follow.
