The list published by “The Independent” shows most of the European countries have suspended their travel after the announcement by the UK Prime Minister with Medical Experts. Here is the list of countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Turkey. (More countries are announcing)

General / European Health Authority calls for the analysis and tracking of samples of the Coronavirus to discover the new strain

The European Health Authority advised public health authorities and laboratories in Europe to analyze and track virus samples to discover the possible spread of the new strain of Coronavirus that was first discovered in Britain.

The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control stated that the preliminary analysis conducted in Britain indicates that the new strain “is significantly more transmissible than the previously circulated variants.”

The centre also called for testing, isolating and following up people who have an epidemiological connection with cases related to the new strain or history of travel to areas known to be affected by this in order to stop the spread of the new strain.

The Center advised the countries that discovered the new SARS-Cove-2 virus cases to report their findings through the European Union’s Early Warning and Response System. (Source: SPA)
