The Saudi National Day 2019 is just around the corner and as always everyone is preparing day and night to prepare for the special day on 23rd September. The ministry of Civil Service also announces 4 day holidays on the special occasion of Saudi National day. The Saudi National Day is known as “اليوم الوطني” in Arabic and it is celebrated by all individuals living in Saudi Arabia no matter local citizens or expats living in the Kingdom.

Establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was conquered by King Abdulaziz in 1902 (Riyadh), Al-Hasa 1913 and by 1925 King Abdul Aziz unified Hejaz and Nejd after a fight with Sarif Hussein in 1925. In September 1932, ibn Saud changed the name of his domain to his family name, the place of Saud.

National Day is one of the most important days in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where everyone comes together to light up their cities with decorations, wearing beautiful clothes and discounts on every mall.
