Speaker – Ministry of Health mentioned some important details on the intensive care patients’ age group. Also, they have mentioned about the newly recorded cases in both genders.
- Half of the critical conditions in intensive care are aged 60 and over.
- 50% age 60 or more years.
- The age group from 40 to 60 years makes up about a third of the number of cases.
- 36% between 40-60
- and 14% between 20-40
- Nearly one-third of the recorded cases are female, two thirds are male.
