7000 carpets will be refurnished in Prophet’s Mosque starting from tomorrow, 20/08/2020. The General Presidency for the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs announced the news on their official channels. This is part of the expansions and squares of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. More details below.

7000 carpets will be refurnished in Prophet’s Mosque

The carpets refurnishing will start from Fajr Prayer on the first of Muharram 1442AH. These directives were given by the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.

The preventive and precautionary measures will be applied to keep the social distancing measures. 3 worshipers per carpet are allowed to follow the guidance. A minimum distance of 180 cm between each worshiper.
