Saudi Central Bank
The Saudi Central Bank allows adding the benefits of covering the risk of Coronavirus to the valid health insurance policies for those arriving for the purpose of tourism and Visit.
The Saudi Central Bank also announced that the current insured persons in which the risk of coronavirus is not covered can be added. The possibility of including the risk of covering coronavirus can be done by contacting the insurance company for the remaining period of the insurance.
The Central Bank stated that this step comes as a supplement to its announcement dated 20/09/1442 AH corresponding to 02/05/2021 AD on adding coverage for the risks of infection with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) for the health insurance product for those coming from outside the Kingdom who are not Saudi citizens (for tourism, visit and Umrah). It also comes in the interest of the health and safety of Saudi citizens and residents alike, and to facilitate access to the necessary health care.
