Spring Fiesta

Sana Bashir, Jubail – Rise Club organized a mega family festival ‘Spring Fiesta’ at Ibn e Sina Beach camp in Jubail, celebrating the season’s arrival. The festival attended and appreciated by many ethnicities.

The program hosted by Nusrat Kamran and Kamran Khalid. The venue decorated with colorful balloons. Talent and cultural shows organized for the kids and the winners were awarded gifts and certificates.

Bushra Arsalan prepared a mind-challenging quiz program for kids of ages 10 to 15 which garnered plenty of appreciation by the parents. Muneeb, Eshal, Hania, and Amna took part out of which Muneed Murtaza won the first prize. Fatima B. Art arranged an art gallery contest that judged by Arsalan Khan and Fatima Tayyab won first prize.

Salman Tariq & Rabeea Salman set up a colorful game booth that equally enjoyed by men, women, and children. The beach camp was the impeccable venue for the event. And, the open air and sunny weather relished by all attendees.

The Club also organized activities and numerous competitions for ladies and winners awarded with gifts, certificates, and shields by the President of the women’s wing of rising Club; Madiha Kashif. A stage drama ‘Haye Mera Pajama’ which was a direction of Sadia Liaquat and written by Leena Khan was also liked by many.

Women enjoyed shopping at more than 25 stalls with a variety of options including food, books, jewelry, sweets, clothes, cosmetics, henna, and health care products. Informative lecture sessions held by Dr. Syed Muhammed Zafeer (pediatrician), Dr. Asif Khan (Internist Cardiologist), Lifestyle Coach Kamran Khalid, Syed Younus, and Faisal Imran.

The festival was well organized with Sumaira Hamid, Rabail Tauqeer, Madiha Junaid, Junaid Memon, Kashif Murtaza and Riaz Arif playing a vital role in making the mega event run smooth and successful. Women wing ex-president Rabia Meer was a special guest.

President of Rise Club Tahir Khan congratulated his fellow club members on their efforts of successful organization of the mega event and hoped to continue doing so in the future.
