During this stopover, you can engage in various activities such as performing Umrah, exploring holy sites, visiting tourist attractions, and experiencing historical sites. Thanks to our partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, you can obtain your stopover visa seamlessly during the booking process.

Here are the steps to secure a stopover visa with SAUDIA:

Choose your international departure and arrival destinations.
Select flights with a suitable connection time of up to 96 hours.
If you lack a valid document to enter Saudi Arabia, apply for a stopover visa on the SAUDIA website’s additional services page.
Ensure your personal photos meet the required specifications (200x200px file size – 20kb) before completing the application.
Pay for both your ticket and visa fees in one convenient transaction on the SAUDIA website.
After completing the steps above, you’ll receive an email containing your issued visa and insurance details for your stay in Saudi Arabia.

To qualify for complimentary accommodation

After confirming your payment, apply for a one-day free stay by clicking on the SAUDIA holidays banner on the reservation confirmation page, the “Manage My Booking” SAUDIA Holiday banner, or the SAUDIA Holidays website.
Please note that you must book the free one-night package at least 48 hours before your departure to ensure successful booking. Reservations cannot be made with less than 48 hours remaining before your flight departs.
Upon arrival at the hotel, present your boarding pass to the hotel receptionist to avail of the free accommodation offer.
Hotel reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. If a reservation is not available, you can submit a request using the form provided on the website.
The policies of the selected hotel will apply in the case of reservation changes or refunds.

Electronic Stopover Visa Information

The electronic stopover visa is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It allows a 96-hour stay and is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance, subject to potential changes per the Ministry’s regulations.
The stopover visa cannot be extended.
Only one trip per booking is allowed for a single visa.
Visa fees, electronic service fees, medical fees, and insurance fees are calculated in accordance with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ regulations.
Obtaining the electronic stopover visa does not guarantee entry; it is subject to verification by the passport officer.

Conditions for Granting an Electronic Transit Visa:

A valid passport with no restrictions, valid for at least six months, as per bilateral agreements.
A confirmed travel ticket to your intended destination, along with the necessary entry visa or residence permit (if applicable).

Terms and Conditions

Print and present the emailed visa upon entering the Kingdom.
A stopover visa is not valid if you possess a valid visa or entry documents.
You can cancel the visa, but no refunds will be issued after issuance.
Companions under eighteen must apply alongside the main applicant.
Rejections for one applicant result in the rejection of all attached applicants.
The price displayed after request approval covers all associated fees, including insurance.
Baggage collection is required for stopovers exceeding 24 hours.
Fulfill all travel requirements before departure.
Have a confirmed PNR to the final destination, as separate PNRs are not accepted.
Print boarding passes and baggage tags at the origin station if the transit period is under 24 hours.
Passengers with visas upon arrival are not considered stopover passengers and must complete travel requirements to their final destination.
