The ranking in the report compared with 190 economies of the world. This includes most of the International Businesses in the world. It also ranks Saudi Arabia as first among GCC countries and second in the Arab World. The Kingdom has made outstanding improvements in 6 measured indicators out of 8. The 8 Indicators are set because of the international standards. These Indicators are “mobility, workplace, marriage, parenthood, entrepreneurship, and pension.”
With the new changes and advancements, Kingdom is showing good improvement in many reform areas. These areas include women’s mobility, workplace, entrepreneurship, and pension.
Issam Abu Sulaiman, the World Bank’s regional director for GCC. He lauded the Kingdom’s achievement: “Saudi Arabia basically has become one of the leaders in the Arab World in terms of women empowerment.”
In addition, the Kingdom is working towards employment and new opportunities. But keeping the values and culture alive. So in the next few years, we will see more changes in the Kingdom. Women’s equal pay, benefits, and protection against discrimination and harassment. Because of these rules, women are progressing in the Kingdom’s Business World.
