They have clarified that travelers are required to declare specific items, and the declaration form can be completed online. New personal belongings of the traveler are exempt from duties and taxes, provided their total value does not exceed 3,000 riyals. The items that must be declared encompass various categories such as currencies or bearer negotiable instruments, gold bullion, precious metals, precious stones, and jewelry valued at 60,000 riyals or more, or the equivalent in foreign currencies. Additionally, commercial quantities of goods or those exceeding a value of 3,000 riyals, goods subject to excise tax, as well as prohibited and restricted items, fall under the declaration requirement.
