Municipal Affairs
Municipal Affairs denies the decision to close the shops at 8:00 PM. He confirms. “We have not reached a decision yet”.
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs responded to an inquiry “previously” about what was circulated regarding the closing of all commercial shops daily starting from 8 pm until 6 am, confirming that he had not received any decision in this regard.
The General Director of Relations and Information at the Ministry, Nayef Al-Otaibi, said in his reply to “Previously”: “There is a high committee concerned with following up the developments of the health status of the Coronavirus, which is taking decisions regarding precautionary measures, and until now the Ministry has not reached any decision regarding the closure of commercial stores from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.”
The ministry called on everyone to get the updates from official accounts to verify the accuracy of any information and not to circulate rumours.
