Red Sea:
In the northern and central parts of the Red Sea, surface winds are predicted to blow from the west to northwest at speeds of 20-40 km/h. In the southern part, winds will shift to a southwesterly to westerly direction, maintaining similar speeds but potentially increasing to 60 km/h during the formation of rainy thunderclouds.
The wave height in the Red Sea is expected to range from one to two meters under normal conditions, but waves could reach up to three meters during thunderstorm activity. As a result, the sea state will vary from medium to wavy, particularly when thunderclouds are present.
Arabian Gulf:
In the northern part of the Arabian Gulf, winds will be predominantly northwesterly to northeasterly, with speeds ranging from 15-35 km/h. In the southern part, the wind direction will shift slightly to southeasterly to northeasterly, maintaining the same speed range.
Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf are forecasted to be between half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in a sea state that is generally light to medium.
