Accor and Alesayi Holding have joined forces to develop new luxury hotels in Saudi Arabia. This partnership will see the creation of the Abraj Omar Hotel & Residences Makkah – MGallery Collection and the MGallery Resort Riyadh.

Abraj Omar Hotel & Residences Makkah – MGallery Collection

The Abraj Omar Hotel & Residences Makkah – MGallery Collection is set to open in Makkah in 2028. Covering an area of 2,600 square meters, this hotel will feature 276 rooms and 214 residences. Guests will also enjoy a business center, fitness center, spa, restaurants, and a children’s playground. Inspired by Makkah’s rich heritage, the hotel will offer a tranquil space for spiritual reflection, with each floor dedicated to notable figures in Islamic history, starting with Omar Ibn Al-Khattab on the first floor.

MGallery Resort Riyadh

Scheduled to open in 2027, the MGallery Resort Riyadh will be located in the Al Waseel District. This resort will feature 60 villas and will be situated near a scenic wadi and a date farm. Both hotels will be part of the MGallery Collection, a brand that launched in 2008 and now boasts over 120 hotels worldwide, with an additional 47 hotels currently in development.

Jean-Baptiste Recher, Regional Vice President Luxury Development at Accor, stated: “The hotel and residences will serve as an iconic addition to the MGallery Collection brand’s presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, characterized by purposeful architecture and intricate local storytelling through every touchpoint. Our expanding footprint in key cities across the Kingdom continues to grow in line with Vision 2030, with more of our collection brands set to open in the next five years.”

Hany Habashy, CEO of Alesayi Holding Group, added: “This commitment to partnering with the best extends across the real estate sector, where we consistently set the highest standards for every project. Abraj Omar is a testament to this strategy, and we believe it will redefine Makkah’s hospitality landscape, while contributing to Vision 2030’s Quality of Life Program goals.”
