One of the Biggest Cinema company “AMC Cinemas” opened its new cinema in Riyadh. The Company is planning to open 50 more theaters in the coming three or four years around Saudi Arabia. This is the second theater by AMC Cinemas which accommodates 10 screens and 800 seats.
The cinema has started selling tickets today. The new cinema is located inside the Panorama Mall. Panorama Mall is one of the biggest malls in the capital city of Riyadh. The opening movies for this cinema are Jumanji 2, Le Mans and Dark Water.
The first cinema by AMC Cinemas was opened in King Abdullah Financial District. It didn’t have the features such as recline, moveable armrest or a table. All of these features are now included in the new cinema. These new theaters will be competing with Vox Cinemas which has been the viewer’s choice.
Adam Aron, CEO of AMC said: ” We now have two theaters open in Riyadh, but we expect to open between eight and ten theatres by June, between 12 and 20 theatres next year, and 50 theatres in the next three, four years, and we expect to be the biggest and most luxurious cinema operator in Saudi Arabia.”
