Diriyah Hotel Boom: Saudi Arabia’s Heritage Hub. Diriyah is strategically located in one of Saudi Arabia’s most important heritage and cultural destinations. Approximately 14 minutes from central Riyadh, Diriyah is renowned for being the original capital of Saudi Arabia, as it was the seat of power for the Al Saud family. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it was home to the founder of the first Saudi state, Mohammed bin Saud.

The Diriyah project leverages its rich history and the centuries-old At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site to become one of the world’s leading mixed-use historical, cultural, and lifestyle destinations. This global megaproject will launch with a total of 39 international hotel brands. Here are the ones we know about so far.
