Whatsapp delayed new privacy policy because of data sharing confusionas per the latest announcement. The announcement of sharing of specific data with Facebook Companies has created havoc and people started leaving Whatsapp to alternative apps live Signal. Whatsapp delayed new privacy policy and data sharing with Facebook
Whatsapp has tried to continuously clarify the stance they have with chats encryption and private data. The company has mentioned the below updates.
“We’ve heard from so many people how much confusion there is around our recent update. There’s been a lot of misinformation causing concern and we want to help everyone understand our principles and the facts,” the company writes in a new blog post published today (Source: The Verge).
“The WhatsApp application is postponing the amendment of privacy rules following the users’ protests, stressing that no account will be suspended or deleted on the eighth of February (Source: Ajel News).”
