Whatsapp will stop working on these smartphones from 1st Jan

The famous Instant Messenger “Whatsapp” will stop working on some of the well-renowned smartphones brand. It is recommended to check if your phone is compatible with whatsapp. Otherwise, you may lose all of your chats or media.

The Communication company has recently released the list of smartphones which will not be supported in 2020. The First bad news is for Windows Phone Users. These phones are mainly made by Nokia such as Lumia. From 1st January 2020, Windows OS will not support whatsapp. This decision was made due to Micrsoft dropping support for their own Operating System.

The update also list some of the IOS Devices. This means if you own any old apple device, you may not be able to use Whatsapp. The news was released that any devices using IOS 8 or older will not be supported. The service will be stopped on 1st February 2020.

Android was also not left behind in the list. Any devices running Android 2.3.7 or older will also be not supported from 1st February 2020. Users will older phones will have no choice besides changing their phones. Unfortunately for Windows users, it is a bad news as they will not be able to use Whatsapp at all.
