United States banned Pakistan International Airline over the issues and concerns of pilot certifications. The news will be another hit to the national airline of the country. More details below.
United States banned Pakistan International Airline
The aviation minister of Pakistan also announced recently that 262 pilots with dubious credentials to ground. However, the latest news from the US Department of Transportation mentioned that “they revoked permission for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to conduct charter flights to the United States, citing Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) concerns over Pakistani pilot certifications (Al Arabiya, 2020).”
Almost a third of pilots of PIA found falsifying the qualifications. After which, the European Union Aviation safety agency also suspended PIA to fly for six months recently.
