UK Announced another National lockdown because of cases increase. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Monday night, 4th January 2021, a comprehensive lockdown to tackle the emerging coronavirus.

The Prime Minister of the UK said, during a speech earlier in the day, that he hopes that restrictions will be eased in mid-February (15th February) and that schools will reopen again at this time.
It is reported that Britain was among one of the first countries to announce a complete lockdown in the first wave of the pandemic in March of last year. However, the number of cases is increasing every day in the country. For the last 4 days consecutively, the daily number of new cases was more than 50,000. Comparing this with Saudi Arabia, where the number of cases is less than 100, and with countries like New Zealand with no cases in the community.
United Kingdom has also given hope to people that the two approved vaccines will be game changer in the fight against Coronavirus. And there is light at the end of this tunnel.
