The strongest cold wave this year in Riyadh might reach -3°C. The official spokesman Hussein Al-Qahtanii expects that the Riyadh region will witness the strongest cold wave for winter this year, starting (Friday, 21st January 2022) and (Saturday, 22nd January 2022).

Hussein Al-Qahtanii explained that the expected temperatures during this wave in Northern Borders, Al Hail, and North Madinah Munawwara may reach -5°C. Snow will fall on the northern areas of the Kingdom.
