Saudization in Groceries plan to accelerate localization has been mentioned by the Human Resources Ministry. The Director of Localization of the Commerical Sector at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Abdul Salam Al-Tuwaijri said that the ministry is studying a new plan to accelerate the localization of groceries, in cooperation with a committee of several government agencies.

Al-Tuwaijri added, during a seminar organized by the Asharqia Chamber, that this step comes within the plan aimed at the settling the retail sector in the Kingdom and combating commercial concealment, referring to the recent decision to localize 70% of the nine activities.
The third phase is coming to complete the process of resettlement of the sector, indicating that the ministerial decision on resettlement gives establishments a grace period ranging between 3 and 4months. Stressing that many establishments have expressed their desire to attract national cadres and lean about the qualification mechanisms.
It is worth noting that the recently implemented settlement decision includes several activities. So here is a list of activities recently announced and implmeneted.
