Experts have raised concerns over the time of research and trials this vaccine has completed. Russia’s Vaccine was among the top six leading contenders for phase 3 clinical trials. However, the country is deciding to go ahead with the new vaccine. The World Health Organization also urged Russia to follow international guidelines. However, this was announced earlier today by the Russian Leader.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said a locally developed vaccine for Covid-19 has been given regulatory approval after less than two months of testing on humans.

Russia announces that 20 countries have requested the purchase of one billion doses of the new anti-corona vaccine, which will be commercially available in September.
Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said the vaccine had “proven to be highly effective and safe”, hailing it as a big step towards “humankind’s victory” over Covid-19.
