Riyadh Region Police arrested a gang consisting of 4 people (citizens, Egyptians, and Sudanese), who practiced counterfeiting and promoting fake cash.
Riyadh police arrested a group of 4 with 500 thousand dollars
The official spokesman for the Riyadh Police stated that after the availability of confirmed information with the competent authorities that people were promoting fake currencies, the criminal investigation officers set a tight ambush, and were able to arrest the accused inside a housing unit east of Riyadh.
He stated that the defendants were found in possession of fake cash amounts estimated at 500 thousand US dollars, while they were arrested and all preliminary legal measures were taken against them, in preparation for their referral to the Public Prosecution.
