Online or Distance Education may continue until a vaccine is found, said by the Minister of Health, Dr Tawfiq Al Rabiah. This will still be under review, the minister also discussed the current situation of Coronavirus in the country and what important actions Kingdom is taking. Details below.

Online or Distance Education may continue until vaccine is found

  • Distance education will be extended if no virus vaccine is available And evaluation during the first 5 weeks of the study.
  • The death rate in the Kingdom is among the lowest in the world, and the recovery rate has exceeded 90%.
  • Coordination is taking place with countries that are conducting research to access the vaccine, and it will not be approved until its safety is confirmed.
  • The Kingdom’s government has given human health a top priority during the Coronavirus pandemic.
  • More than 70,000 examinations are performed daily.
  • Providing psychological counselling services to reduce the risks of the pandemic.
  • Tatman clinics receive more than 15 thousand people daily.
