- Operational Timeline: The project is currently in its final stages and is expected to be operational by 2025. In the interim, a life-size model of Cave Hira will be installed to offer visitors a preview of the experience.
Enhanced Accessibility and Experience
Historically, visiting Cave Hira required a challenging hike through rugged terrain, which could be difficult for many, including the elderly and those with physical limitations. In recent years, a paved walkway was constructed to facilitate easier access. The cable car is part of the larger Hira Cultural District project, which spans over 67,000 square meters. This initiative includes the construction of three new museums, set to open in 2025, located in Jabal Omar.
