NCB and Samba merger approved with a new name. Both the National Commercial Bank and the Samba Commercial Group revealed their new names, days after they obtained the approval of the General Authority for Competition for their merger.

The National Bank and Samba Group will carry the name “National Bank of Saudi Arabia,” noting that they consider the name an embodiment of their vision to launch a banking giant that will drive economic and social development in the Kingdom.  

It is worth noting that the General Authority for Competition announced a few days ago that the Samba Group had merged with the National Bank and transferred all its assets and liabilities to it. (Source; Akhbar)
