Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – Nawazinda (NTT) Group & World Business Group (WBG) bids farewell dinner to Ghanaian Ambassador H.E. Tahir Bimbali Damba on Thursday at a graceful ceremony held in Riyadh.

The farewell ceremony was attended by H. E. Ambassador of Vietnam Dzung viet Vu and H. E. Ambassador of Benin Moutairou Fadilou. Several other notable dignitaries and high profile businessmen were also present on the ocassion.

V. P. of WBG Saeeduddin praised the services of Ambassador Damba in his opening remarks, “Under his administration His Excellency Ambassador Damba has strengthen the bilateral relations. He has ensured that the
Energy, Agricultural, Educational, Transport and Health sectors of the Kingdom will always have a role to play in similar Governmental sectors in Ghana”, he said.

Ambassador Damba thanked the organizers for their courtesy and shared his pleasant relationship with NTT, WBG and the Indian community in Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Damba assured the organizers that he will keep the best relationship with the Saudi and Indian business community. He invited the delegation of NTT and WBG to Ghana.

NTT & WBG presented a memento to H. E. Ambassador Damba for his great services. The farewell gifts were also presented to the Ambassador by the guests.

Director WBG, Dr. Mohammed Ashraf ALI extended his best regards in his message from India for the Ghanaian Ambassador. He highly praised his services and wished him all the best ahead.

CEO of NTT Eng. Shakeel Khan remarked his friendship with the Ambassador while bidding farewell to him, “The Ambassador Damba has been a long time friend to the Nawazinda group of companies and we are always obliged with his kindness towards our group”, he said.

“We see Ghana as a peaceful and stable country with stable economy, the highly reputable Ambassador also used his office to encourage us and Saudi investors to take advantage of the attractive incentives and to invest in Ghana”, Shakeel added.
