Minister of Islamic Affairs sends a message to the visitors of the mosques: Do not be the cause of closing them. On 9th February 2021, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Abd al-Latif Al-Sheikh, gave advice to those who visit the Mosques, not to be a reason for closing mosques.

He warned that the negligence in the precautionary measures, approved by the competent authorities, is a major reason for the spread of the Coronavirus, calling on everyone to cooperate and work on the reasons so that everyone is safe.

It is reported that the Ministry closed 22 mosques on 8th February and 9th February 2021, after discovering cases of Coronavirus. (Source: Akhbaar)
