Makkah Police: arrested 3 expatriates who assaulted a taxi driver and stole a sum of money and a mobile phone that he was in possession of. Today (Tuesday), the security authorities in charge of the Makkah Region Police were able to arrest 3 Ethiopians who violated the border security system, for their involvement in the assault on a taxi driver and robbing his possession.

The media spokesman for the district police, Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, stated that the driver was assaulted and robbed while he was driving 3 people in their thirties to their destination.

Al-Ghamdi added that there is a video clip documenting the incident, and it shows the moment the taxi driver was assaulted, and a sum of money and a mobile device were taken from his possession.

The preliminary inference procedures indicated that the violators committed a number of crimes of the same pattern and criminal behavior, and they were arrested and all legal measures were taken against them, to refer them to the Public Prosecution branch.
