List of coldest cities in the past 24 hours – lowest 11.8C. The city of Hail topped, at dawn today (Wednesday), the list of the coldest cities in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours, recording 11.8 degrees Celsius, surpassing the city of Abha, which has always been at the top of the list for several months.

The climate professor at Qassim University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Misnad, explained that the city of Hail topped the list of the coldest Saudi cities in the lowest temperature (dawn), after a few months had passed since the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait topped the list.

He pointed out that Hail issued the list at dawn today, opening the way for the northern and north-central regions to lead in the lowest temperature until about April.

Khamis Mushait scored 12 degrees, while Abha scored 12.2 degrees, and 14 degrees were recorded in each of Taif, Tarif, Al-Baha and Wadi Al-Dawasir, while it scored 15 degrees in Qassim and Najran, and at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh it recorded 15.7 degrees, and at Jeddah airport 25.4 degrees.
