Labour Ministry Surprise visit for inspections update
The inspection teams of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development carried out during the month of September more than 100 thousand inspection visits to ensure the extent of the commitment of the owners’ Establishments according to the provisions of the labour system. And its legislation and the decisions issued by the Ministry to improve and develop the work environment.
The inspection tours targeted all activities and professions in all regions of the Kingdom, where the general discipline rate of the labour market reached 95%, while violations of 5% of the total inspection visits carried out were detected. The Ministry indicated that its surprise inspection rounds are continuing, in order to ensure that establishments adhere to the decisions regulating the labour market and follow-up on the implementation of the localisation decisions, through which the Ministry aims to provide job opportunities for the people of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry called for the reported violations to be reported through the (monitoring unit) application available via smartphone devices, or by calling the unified number (19911).
