HR Minister published guidance and deadline to apply standards for people with disabilities. The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Chairman of the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a circular to government agencies requiring the application of standards for universal access guides according to the simplified guide and giving government agencies a six-month period to activate it.

It is noteworthy that the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities, in coordination with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, formed several committees of experts and legal professionals to implement the comprehensive access program in public and private facilities in order to be compatible with the needs of persons with disabilities and to give a deadline to correct their status within three months.
