First T20 Western Union Cricket Tournament Launched by RCL

Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – The First T20 Western Union cricket tournament launched by the Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) at the Saudi capital in Riyadh. The tournament was inaugurated and the trophy revealed by Salman Jawad Al Khalifa, CEO RCL.

The graceful ceremony held at the RCL grounds in Riyadh. Sixty different teams lined up for the thrilling T-20 tournament. Sixteen matches played between the thirty-two teams on the inaugural day of the tournament in the presence of cricket spectators. The crowd witnessed some finest games of cricket by the talented RCL players.

Salman Jawad Al Khalifa – CEO RCL

The CEO of RCL Salman Jawad Al Khalifa welcomed all the teams, players, and spectators. He expressed his good wishes for the best game of cricket by the players and the teams respectively.

Speaking on the occasion Al Kahlifa has said, “The RCL has always worked to provide a better environment for the players. And we have been striving to go ahead with good quality and standard of the cricket in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.

Riyadh Cricket League has produced the best cricket players having the international caliber and the standards. Hanif Baber has assured to hold the intercity and international cricket matches in the Kingdom.

Abdul Kareem Khan has said that RCL is working for the betterment of the Saudi cricket scene. That can improve the performance of Saudi National Team. We are preparing for the National Cricket Championship under the Saudi Cricket.  At the beginning of the two-month-long tournament, the players and the teams vowed to offer a good game to win the tournament.
