“Sama”, determines the working hours of banks and financial and fast transfer centers. During the Eid Al-Adha holiday, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency “Sama” has specified the working hours of banks, financial transfer centers, and the Saudi system for rapid financial transfers “fast” during the Eid al-Adha holidays. For the current year, according to Article Sixteen of the Banking Control Law regarding determining bank holidays and working hours there, and the Cabinet’s decision to confirm that the institution is the competent authority for the system, to operate, monitor and supervise payments and financial settlement systems in the Kingdom, and it has Issuing rules, instructions and licenses according to the criteria applied by “SAMA” in this regard, and the institution clarified in its circular that the beginning of the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday for banks, banks, and financial transfer centers by the end of work on Tuesday corresponding to 28/07/2020.

Provided that it will resume its business on Wednesday corresponding to 05/08/2020 AD (according to Umm Al-Qura calendar), stressing in this regard to the banks and transfer centers that a number of their branches must be opened in places that Conscious of the need to deal with it to work in certain periods during the blessed Eid Al-Adha vacation, and to inform the institution of the names of these branches and their working hours, and to announce this by appropriate means. Concerning the Saudi system for quick “quick” money transfers, the Monetary Agency stated that the work of the “fast” system ends during the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday at the end of work on Tuesday to 28/07/2020, to return to work on Monday corresponding to 3/8/2020 (according to Umm Al-Qura calendar), noting that clearing houses will work in accordance with the hours and days of fast system work.
