Eid holidays mandate moving forward
The Saudi government has mandated that various agencies align their work systems with organizational principles, requiring independent bodies, institutions, centers, programs, and similar entities to revise their administrative regulations. Specifically, these amendments focus on official holidays, with an emphasis on the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays.
Now, these government agencies must ensure that the official holidays for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha span a minimum of four working days and a maximum of five working days. This initiative aims to streamline and standardize holiday practices across governmental entities, fostering consistency in work-related policies and promoting a balanced approach to employee time off during these significant religious occasions.
