Eid 2021 Holidays announced for private and public sector employees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The news has been reported on the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Eid Holidays announced for private and public sector 2021
- The Public Sector will be having 10 Days off. This will start from the end of (Thursday) 24th Ramdan 1442H [6th May 2021] until (Monday) 5th Shawwal 1442H [17th May 2021].
- The Private Sector holidays begin from the end of (Tuesday) 29th Ramdan 1442H [11th May 2021] for four days.
Public sector
- Holidays begin at the end of the day’s working hours (Thursday) 24th Ramdan 1442H [6th May 2021].
- Resumes work (Monday) 5th Shawwal 1442H [17th May 2021].
Private sector
- Holidays begin at the end of the day’s working hours (Tuesday) 29th Ramdan 1442H [11th May 2021].
- 4 Days holidays.

According to labor laws, if the holiday dates fall on an employee’s usual weekend, he or she shall be compensated for the days before or after the holiday, according to a Ministry of Labor and Social Development statement carried by SPA.
